Why is my TV screen turning green? Just got it from Hudsons was display model at WalMart. Turns green tint?

Just bought it and Screen goes green every now and then. Is that an easy fix or should I take it back? WHy would it turn green? Picture is awesome normally

Try moving the other electronics away from your TV usually the green is caused by magnetism ie speakers subwoofer or amp. Good Luck

it happened in the warehouse it was set too close to something else-I think speakers do it- anyway it will work fine, you have to take it back and they have a de-magnatizer wand that they really just wave over it and fixes it. It happened to my moms new TV and my guy from best buy fixed it...with a magic wand no less!

You need to 'Degauss' the tv. Assuming this is a tube set, which are quite prone to magnetic interference, including the earth's magnetic field. First move anything with a strong magnet (speakers are the main culprit), away from the set. Next, see if the set has a Degauss button...it not, rent a 'Degausser' Looks like big round circle magnet, and place it over the parts that are turning green. Last resort, return the set.
