How is the quality on the TV when you connect a portable DVD player to it?
-
connecting the portable DVD player to the TV through an a/v cable, or buying a proper DVD player... which would yield a better quality on the tv?
-
Answer:
That's a standard-definition player with a 800x480 screen, meaning its picture will look about the same as the image on any standard-def TV. In other words, like a good analog picture--not HD. For a better picture, the next step would be an upscaling player which will make standard-def DVDs look as good as they can get, followed by a Blu-ray player for true 1080p HD.
