Is there any way to connect a laptop to a Comcast cable box?

How do I connect my comcast cable box and my dvd player and my TV without unplugging the cable box from the TV?

  • I wish to connect my TV to my Comcast cable Box and my DVD player so that when I want to play a DVD I dont have to unplug the cable from the back of the TV. Can anyone help me please

  • Answer:

If your TV has only RF in, get a bypass type RF modulator, wiring it between the cable box RF put to TV RF in. If your TV has only one A/V, and you wish to use it with both the cable box and DVD, get an A/V selector box.

first off what type of TV do you have? you might be able to use indivdual inputs on the tv. second if its a an older TV that just a coax input, no RCAs, go from the the wall (your cable service in) to the cable box in from the, from the cable box out to the DVD player in, from the dvd player out to the TV in. now issues with this is that you might have to tinker around and figure out if the DVD player has to be on or off to watch TV, personally, i find it allot easier to just get RCA cables, hook the DVD to the TV and hit AUX on your tv/remote to watch your DVDs
