How can I load my avatar so that it can show up?

This is my picture, but it wont load onto my instant messenger window ! WHY?

  • I have an avatar but when I choose a picture, it will not load onto the window . Only the avatar will show ??

    The photo is most likely to "big" in pixels,or un-readable..

It is posible your YIM is haveing difficulty finding it. It gets like that some times. Also lately everyone's Avatars have been going missing at random so Y!M itsself is also actting up. Try to put a copy of the picture in another place on your hard drive. Maybe go into your computer and make a folder just called " My Fave Pics" for the time being and paste a copy into that folder. Then get on Y!M and go in to set the picture but instead of picking the preexisting, go pick that picture from that particular folder. If anything has happened to your previous file of this picture then it might have confused Y!M,.. even if you just deleted it or moved it or renamed a folder along the way to it once.
