How do you disable Yahoo! Messenger permanently in the new mail version?

    Has this been resolved yet? It drives me NUTS! I will be typing away in an email, and all of a sudden there's a messenger box, and all text is going into it instead of the email. When this happens 20 or 30 times a day, I want to scream the roof off!

"The issue with Yahoo! Messenger in Mail should be resolved now and it should no longer sign you in automatically. " FALSE. It just happened to me. This is not acceptable. It happens over and over again, and is not detectable until someone sends you a msg or you scroll down to see that you are logged in and visible. FIX IT, PLEASE!
