    If there's no limitation on size, you will get fastest heating by having a large area. I would use a large, black plastic garbage bag, put the water in, and spread the bag out thin in a large cardboard box. I'd try to squeeze the air out of the bag, because it would be important that the bag contact the water where the sun shines on it. That alone would probably be enough to heat 10 degrees. For faster and better heating, put some plastic wrap over the top of the box. That cuts down on heat losses from wind (convection).

a parabolic reflector might help. you can do some awesome heating in a small space with that. aluminum foil or something shinier. a mirror surface would be optimal. how about silver plastic balloon material for a reflective coating? well, aluminum foil is more conformable to the parabolic shape. you will have to invent your own parabola. since you want to cook a pipe or tube, the parabola doesn't have to be round,it can be shaped like gull winged doors on a sports car. a U shape. the foci would be near the bottom. look on youtube for some videos about parabolic solar heaters or solar parabolic reflectors to see what I am talking about and get a "demo". there are programs out there for designing a parabola. see 1st link.

i dont have a picture but i know one by memory, make a woden frame kind of box with pink batts or whatever heating foam you use and put that in the frame cover the foam in black fabric or plastic whatever you have and then use a metal pipe and wind it through the frame to fit as much in as you can at the bottom of the pip attach you litre of water and at the top attach another container if you want you can put a platic cover on the top this might make it heat up faster may not.
