    When you buy circuits from the phone company, you can put in any number you choose. There are also services that let you spoof CID. I'm guessing that was one or the other. We have a 666 exchange in our area and I actually gave a customer 666-6666. The kept it for about a week ::-) Since the customer was a US Military installation, it was done with quick haste and I never did anything as stupid as that again. Your call was probably spoofed.

Okay that is the creepiest thing I have ever heard in my life... lol... make sure your doors are locked tonight =). No one answered? They might have been people playing prank calls... and they knew since there area code was 666 it would scare you to death... I looked it up and it says it isn't currently a area code, but it used to be from Louisiana. I think it's possible to change the caller ID from the internet or something but I'm not sure. Look up in google search 666 area code location- lots of people got calls from the area code 666 as well... I'm glad I haven't received one yet, but I might in the future! =( -Tara

No, 666 is not an area code the closest ones are664 in Montserrat and 669 in California and the number you listed is not in service.

could of been a prank like prankdial.com lets u use any number to show on the persons display when you prank them i wouldn't worry about it and no i don't think it's an area code. P.S. it's probobly someone that knows you so replace the triple six area code for your area code and call the number and be like y did u call me sucka!
