Can I send a fax from same phone line?

I have no long distance phone line in my land line but I need to send fax to long distance.How can I send?

  You could sign up for one of those fax services that let you use the internet to send. I use MaxEmail http://www.maxemail.com that costs me about $24 a year. There is a 30-day trial and you get a $3.00 credit (or used to) to send faxes at about 10 cents a connection or 5 cents a page. If you use Google for INTERNET FAX SERVICE OUTBOUND, you will find a whold lot of places, most of them wanting monthly money, and almost all of them giving you a free month trial :-) Another one is called onesuite.com appears to charge $1 a month and about 2.5 cents per page outbound.
