    I work for Bank Of America in credit card services and you would be AMAZED how many customers I have tell me that they've got Magic Jack and it doesnt work and they cant get their money back. I dont have any actual experience with the product itself, but I swear I have dealt with 150 people who have tried to get a refund since the Magic Jack was introduced.

I have been using the magic jack for the last year. I have one in the Caribbean two in Montreal and three in Toronto. I find that the best of the jack can be realized by using a hi-speed cable connection and windows XP or higher. For the time I've used the Magic Jack, I have Never once had a complaint or a problem with it. Most of the troubles reported, I found them to be misuse .If You are An American, living in the USA. it's a good investment.

I like it. I use it mainly for outgoing calls. It will alert you to an incoming call only when your computer is turned on. It does have voice mail which is active at all times, even when your computer is turned off. It sends you an email message when you get a voice mail. The quality of the voice is very similar to regular phones, no significant difference. .....Since I use it only for outgoing calls, I connect the module just before I make a call. Of course you can use it for incoming & outgoing calls. If your computer is turned off, or you don't answer a incoming call, it gives the caller the opportunity to leave a message.......I'm surprised at the opinions here, I haven't had any problems with it. I have windows xp and comcast high speed internet.
