You haven't provided important information such as network set-up, connection type, etc. But taken simply from what you said, it might be that you're using a dial-up connection. A dial-up connection gets cut off whenever the phone which is currently using the internet connection rings.

You should be more specific with your question. I had the same problem and I had Frontier DSL and Phone Service. I called them and a technician came to my house and worked at the post outside. He mentioned that there was bad wiring on the post, blah... blah... blah... Anyways, that stopped from reoccuring.

your are useing 2g network so when someone call you your internet connection get discannected try to useing 3G network if you have 3G phone just change network mode there haveing options 1-Dual Mode 2-UMTS 3-GSM choose 1-Dual Mode
