Phones usually work better with a full charge when first bought, and it wouldn't hurt to make sure the phone is off while charging. Waiting until your phone dies and then charging it until full also makes its battery life last longer in the long run.

Best to charge it first, as this makes the battery last longer or something. But once she has had it for a while apparently its good to let your phone completely run out of battery once in a while! I didn't no why but a person who works in a phone Accessories shop told me !

charge it for 3 - 4 hours in "switched off" mode. ideally it should be charged until the point when it shows "charging complete".

lady, charge the battery fully BEFORE using your new phone at all!

its best to charge it. My cousin used to charge his for over 1 day to ensure that the battery life is longer.
