actually.....the envy2 is really good! i have it and i text ALL the time! its easy to use and its kool looking! plus they sell a lot of covers for it in the mall!

I had the LGNV2 which has a keyboard and it was great for a texter. The only thing I had to get used to was the keyboard, because the space bar was on the side instead of the middle. No biggie. Now I have a curve for work, and I like it too, but I miss the simplicity of the other phone.

It's a matter of personal preference. I like the Bold 9000, but I've also checked out the Blackberry Storm. It's very cool, has tons of features, and the touch screen works really well. I like the fact the it "clicks" so you know you hit the keys. It also is a dual connection phone, both GSM and CDMA. Verizon uses the CDMA network and when you go to another country, you can easily get it unlocked, slip in another carrier's sim card, and avoid roaming charges. Just something to think about if you're a traveler.
