How do i get my music onto my new computer from my IPOD without erasing the music on my new computer?

    -you better have XP- vista sucks -set the folder options to view even invisible folders. -open up my computer with the ipod connected and right click the ipod. go to view all folders and take the music folder and drag it into the computers' music folder. -badda bing.

All you have to do is transfer the music you have on ipod to the library. That way when all your music in your ipod is deleted , you'll have a safe copy of your content on your computer. What you need is a iPod to computer transfer to help you backup all the things on your ipod to your computer. I had this happen before. One thing you can do is Go to your My Computer locate your IPOD drive and you can drag and drop to a new folder on your hard drive, but the only cons in this procedure that it does not name your songs it has like a code on each file/song..you would possibly have to manually punch it in.. good luck
