The easiest way is to buy a simple video converter. I may not seem worth the $15 or so but it comes in handy. I would suggest VisualHub, it works great and has a setting specifically for converting videos for an iPod

if you can open them with windows media player than you can convert to mp3(itunes compatible)., all you need to do is simply open the music files and save as and when they save they should be mp3
