yes u can. the exact same thing happened to me. you can download a free program called Pod To PC, and it will copy all the music, and make a playlist which you can import into iTunes

i dont think you can thats the same with my ipod it will just delete all your songs or you can just keep them on the ipod...

Nope, it's impossible. I reccomend downloading all the songs again, or if you have them on cd, sync them to the iPod again.

there are many programs on the web for mac and pc and there is also a way doing it through itunes.

yes, it is possible. just start off by playing ur ipod on your computer [windows media player] then click RIP MUSIC =]
