How much will it cost to repair my Philips Flat screen plasma 42" TV to get rid of 3 inch vertical stripes?

    holy cow, i have the same problem, and i dont know what to do. the lines are GReen right? and the screen is normal except for those lines? it only affects the HDMI inputs right?

Lots of times when a TV is having problems like that it is more expensive to fix, and would cost less to just buy a new TV.
