    I work in a elec. store and fact for fact the 750 out does the xbr4 by a long shot you have 4ms response compared to sonys 8ms a 14 bit color panel vs sonys 10 bit CP live wireless firmware update as long as you have wireless internet buily in usb and ethernet connections plus add feature like games recipies fitness and for children it has storys that highlight the words as it goes to help with learning... so there is no comparison plus its 900$ cheaper

Yes it is , because it is full hd and has a 100hz but honestly i would go for the x series the difference between the x and xbr series is just the frame good luck

The XBR is pretty much the top of the line of all tv's made. It would be the Rolls Royce of TV's. The picture quality is so crisp and if you have the extra money to purchase an XBR its worth every penny.

absolutely what the above poster said. I have a Sony Bravia S series tv in a 32", and while the picture is awesome, an XBR is hands down the best LCD on the market. Samsung's 7 series are very tempting too, though. I currently upgraded to a 42" Samsung plasma I got for a really good deal, but once I graduate and get a steady income, I'll be purchasing an XBR. Simply beautiful tv's. If you have the means and are in the market to get a new tv, buy one.

The XBR is their flagship model, the best one they have on the market. It will have the best of everything available including contrast ratio. You can get Samsung's flagship series, the 7 series that have the same stuff for a few hundred bucks cheaper. But if you want Sony and want this TV to be your main unit, get the XBR! You will not be sorry. Go visit your local electronic store and compare the XBR to say, Sony's L or S series. They don't stand a chance!
