What's better, a 52" lcd or a 52" plasma tv?

Whats a better TV LCD or Plasma And why?

  Plasma has a better contrast ratio they are great in that but are not the highest in contrast ratio LED TVs has a very much higher contrast and cost a whole lot more though,and LCD are decent but cannot compare to what Plasma can do most new Plasma have a white wash feature and should be use pretty much every time to get rid of picture retention after awhile Plasma like a break in period they have very great picture with deep dark colors and great bright colors also.And LCD are mainly loved because they are pretty much idiot proof and don't really need the extra care like Plasma but for LCD to have a picture that can match Plasma you have to pay extra for it and the idiot proof thing i said for LCD i mean you don't really have to worry about picture retention.And for best companies well that is something that just comes down to your personal preference people have different beliefs to what HD should be so companies have very different TVs out there. I forgot don't buy into that Plasma don't last as long as LCD no real studies to back that in my opinion Plasma is the best i own one and still am not impressed with LCD but the new LED TVs are great but those are a pretty penny to get one.
