Is the Pontiac Fiero a good car to buy? If not what other small car for a person that is 6' 7"?

Not quite that tall here, but with some looking I'm sure you can find a sporty car that's comfortable for your height. It was said back in the days when the Fiero was being produced that the chances of them catching fire on a particular day was 1 in 400. I know of couple that become a toasted marshmallow of plastic, quite suddenly. If you buy one make sure your insurance is paid up. Good luck.

Sit in one to find out. I knew a dude that had 3 Fierros. We road in them all the time. NEVER had one of them catch fire. This recall should have been fixed by now or is easy to fix. I was around 6foot and didnt have trouble getting in any Fierros. If you lay back alittle you can clear out some head room easily. They are cool little cars.

NOOOO, I am six foot and I barely fitted in a Fiero. You would be bumping the wheel every time you went to shift or hit the brakes. The VW Beetle is perfect for you, Plenty of room. Another one that surprised me was the Mini Cooper, and the Mazda 3. My room mate is 6' 5" and he likes his Honda Civic. I would also check out the Scion XD. Yes its a box but boxed styled cars will work for you.

No. It is a good looking car. But many of them do catch on fire. They are known for that. Mazda MX-5(Miata)-I am 6 foot and I fit comfortably in that. Not sure if you will, but it is worth a try. Very reliable and fun lightweight sports car.
