What is the driving age in Ohio?

What is the legal driving age in ohio?

  • i have heard from so many people that they have raised the age to 18 but then so many others say it is still 16- does anybody know???

  • Answer:

Normally age 16 is when you get your driving permit which allows you to drive but you'd have to be accompanied by someone over the age of 25 and at the age of 18 you are eligible for a drivers license. You can acquire a driver's license before the age of 18 but it would be a provisional driver's license which means you can drive unaccompanied but only from the hours of 5A.M.-11P.M.
