    As RSJ said it isn't a 9-5 job, there are no breaks, coffee, smoke or otherwise....Go to your local community college and take the cooking and baking classes there, work in a restaurant or other food establishment for a few years to be sure that it is want you want to do and to HONE your skills, THEN attend a professional culinary school to REFINE your skills. Go to one of these schools, Culinary Institute of America, Le Cordon Bleu, or Johnson and Wales University, and you can write your own paycheck after that. Yes these schools are expensive, but worth it if you want to get ahead in this industry.
