Is it ok to add an amp with 1000 watts to a stock speakers and cd player?

I don't think that's going to work well for you. Many stock systems, especially older ones, are real low-power with high-efficiency speakers. Some stock-style car stereos are 5-watts per channel. If you don't blow the speakers, you'll overdrive them and it'll sound like (*@#!!

Wow, you really don't know much about audio. The most important part of your system is the speakers. With that said, they must be driven by an amplifier of equal quality. They all need to be upgraded.
