However, in the case of a MKIV Supra, the 2JZ engine in the non-turbo cars is nearly identical in every way. It is actually very popular to turbo N/A supras, also known as doing a NA-T. Some even argue it is more cost effective to reach the same performance level starting with a N/A 2JZ, though this is debatable.

They only made non-turbo and twin turbo which means 0 turbo's and 2 turbo's. No matter what everone says the Supra can be modified with adding just turbo which makes them so popular. It is only one I know of like that. Turbo's are put in at port as an option package to dealer when they were made.

It you want a turbo and can't affort it, don't buy it. It's going to cost you a lot more money to put in a turbo because there are lots of parts need to be replaced to accomendate the turbo such as intercooler, radiator, exhaust system, air intake system, fuel pump, fuel injectors, and ECU.

NO dont turbo a non turbo car there are huge differences between them internally they are not made the same way the compression ratio for 1 is not the same its like having an average joe compeat as a pro athleat he will die and so will your car. the dmotor will literally blow up and you dont need a turbo unless you are gonna race for fmoney at a race track. buy a toyota tercel learn how to drive and then buy a real car like a Beamer
