You have pretty good answers the sensor however is located in the bell housing of the transmission in front look straight down behind the radatior just to the right side of center facing rear of the car it has two wires and black plastic plug. One 10mm bolt holds it into the transmission's bell housing. Approx 4" long when removed.

Look directly beneath the radiator cap and next to the radiator hose you should see the connector for the crank position sensor. It take the signal off the flywheel and yes code P0335 indicates replace the crank sensor. To test it if you want is 432-528 ohms at 77 degrees F.
