Is k2 bikes a good brand?

K2 and Iron Horse are both designed by World Wide Cycle Supply in New York. I happen to know the people that design them. They are good solid bikes for the money. Iron Horse builds the premier downhill bike- the Sunday- but it is expensive and not for just riding around. EDIT: If you are going to give me thumbs down have the courage to post an answer that you think is correct, then provide the info to prove it.

I have never heard of K2. But i have heard nothing but good things about iron horse. Remember most bike companys make some lower end models too, so be wise.

As far as I knew, K2 was a ski and snowboard company, and Iron Horse built motorcycles. I know K2 is a good brand if they are the same company. My daughter and nephew and many other people I know use their snowboarding and ski equipment. Nice quality.
