How do you download photos from a particular album on multiply.com?

Why when I download an album from Google+ pictures don't the photos have different names and .jpg extensions?

    I would double check the file names shown in Google+ under Photo Details, as they should not diverge from the original file. Two possibilities: 1. The zip file received when downloading multiple files is called "Photos" but contains the properly named images, and is being confused when read. 2. You're using an iOS device, which will name photos "Photo.JPG," "Photo2.JPG," etc. in certain scenarios. This also occurs with other devices, but is rarer. One should also consider that the filename outputted on a smartphone by an app other than the default camera app may have different naming practices. As for the missing .jpg extension, it is not actually missing. This is a common feature of modern operating systems, to increase readability for the user. If it were truly missing from the file, you would encounter problems opening and viewing the file.
