  • Answer:

Check engine light means "please scan the engine code". Stop guessing and don't chase ghosts. Go to Autozone and have the code scanned. Then come back here with the CODE NUMBER and ask more questions. Good Luck...

Take it to autozone to check the codes. Its probably time for a tune up

it could be any number of things. i would first start by checking your air filter. A dirty/clogged air filter can make a car run horribly. Next I would check the spark plugs, you could have a misfire. It could be a bad O2 sensor or a clogged/defective catalytic converter. The symptoms you are describing can be the cause of many things. When the engine light is on, go to the dealer and have them run the code. If the light isn't on, they can't check it.

is your engine the K20 type?,its a faulty HO2S(heated oxygen sensor) 100% sure!

Listen to Lover not a fighter. It is probably a faulty crank angle censor but you could be going in circles on these. Read your fault code!
