-____- Weird question. It's an automatic tranny dude. AUTOMATIC means it shifts gears by itself. No need to shift, just leave it in D4 and drive while the tranny handles the rest. It's not a manual so dont neutral drop, go redline or anything. When you hit a stop sign or any other obstacle, LEAVE it in D4. When your going on the highway, put it in D3 or D4.

well it will shift itself. But if you want to use it like a auto stick, shift it at the desired engine speed. manual or automatic a good shift point for a small displacement engine like a honda would be around 3500 to leave yourself enough torque to accelerate in any gear. If your in a higher gear say 3rd to fourth you can do it more like at 3000 because of difference in gear ratios. shifting every set mph would be stupid because the gear ratios are not linear in change.

sounds like you have an auto trans which means it shifts for you no shifting required

All that you need to do is put it in d4 and leave it there. Your trans is an automatic and shifts all by itself. You can do what you are doing if your intent is to accelerate really hard and ride each gear to red line, but it is not necessary at all.

This is an automatic transmission, which means you put it in d4, and leave it there. If you had a manual, you wouldn't have park.

Drive in D3 around town and D4 on the freeway. It is an automatic. You do not have to shift it manually

mybuttstinks2001

ok your car is automatic so you shoodnt be shifting the transmission your'll end up f**king up the gears and then your stuck paying over a gran to get your transmission rebuild just keep it on d4 the other ones are for when your going up hill so that the transmission dosent over work it's self while going up
