Do citizens of the USA like patriotic songs? What are some patriotic songs that the country has really liked?

In the East, there are a countries which are absolutely exuberant about the Nationalism and related ideologies, and Patriotic songs just fuel it enough to become more powerful. I stayed in the US for just about five years(not enough, I know, to see the whole country) and I NEVER saw anybody talking/singing about patriotism/nationalism. What is the real situation? If there are patriotic songs in the US I would like to give a listen. That is all.

Not all citizens like them. There are a few that tug on my heart strings, but I don't go much for blatant, flag-waving patriotism. The more popular ones are: The national anthem: The Star Spangled Banner - which is the one I'm partial too. God Bless America My Country 'tis of Thee - which is just a "remake" of the UK's national anthem with American wording. America the Beautiful God Bless the USA - which is sort of the most contemporary patriotic song.
