• Answer:

  To be a good leader you have to be a good listener and set a good example. You have to work with people and develop a team. You have to be willing to set credit where credit is due. You should always treat others as you want to be treated and never reduce them to numbers on a page. People want to be valued and feel that the job they do (no matter what it is from Burger King to Wal*Mart) is important and worthy of their time and effort. In your community you should have Scouting groups that always need volunteers & leaders, Big Brother/Big Sister groups, a local library that almost always needs help, hospitals that always need volunteers to help transport patients, transport supplies, and many other important duties, parks and recreation departments always need help with maintence and activities in the spring, summer and fall with local school children. And of course any local Sr. care facility or church....and that's all off the top of my head. All you have to do is look around!
