    your English is a HELL of a lot better than some I've seen on here. I'm surprised a teacher who knew that English was not your native language would have insulted you this way. Shame on her !! Practice is best, and there are groups you can join to improve your speaking/writing skills and make some very small modifications to your grammar and verb tenses and things like that. I would suggest finding an "advanced" group.

Watch American TV with the subtitles on it, listen American radios, read newspapers that r made specially 4 professionals 'cause they have a very stylish English so u can improve your listening, writing and understanding. I moved here 8 yrs ago and all my friends were English speakers that helps a lot, even better if u have an American girlfriend who has a college degree or so (u'll b able to copy her English)

The Metropolitan Adult Community Center or the public library would be of great assistance for you. There are compassionate volunteers who will help you with writing and reading. It's usually best to have a mentor help you in person on this subject rather than online. Since I am a hands on kind of person, I believe you can benefit from this very well. I only wish you the best in helping you with reading and writing, just like I will help many people. I only wish I can help you in person, but I live in Hawaii.
