How do I get better study habits?

SQ3R look it up on line. There are several very excellent similar methods. The letters stand for Survey, Question, Read, Recite , Review. The method is easy to learn and will improve your comprehension dramatically and cut your study time too since you will not have to go back and relearn everything for a test. I learned this methos in college as a freshman. I wish it had been taught in middle school! I graduated from college with a 3.95

read read read as much as you can!! that's the easiest way to learn new things. I have the same problem with studying if I don't plan at the beginning of the semester. What I do is designate a specific amount of time every day (or 4 or 5 days a week) to study. I'll set aside an hour or two or three every day. EVERY day I make myself study something. it's easier to learn the subject instead of just having to cram and not learning a thing.

I find it works if you start earlier for studying. Say for the final exam you start studying a month in advance for ten minutes a day. That may seem like a long ways away but its only ten minutes of your life so hey. This also works well and then you can ask your teachers for help when you get to a problem. Hope this helps.
