How can i discipline myself to study for the ACT?

  • what the heck im referring to studying... what are you talking about?

  • Answer:

You pervert. I'm reporting this as abuse. You can't say the word "discipline" and mean anything other than an innuendo.

When I was studying for professional exams, this is what I did. Perhaps, you can do likewise. Beginning 4 months before the exam, EVERY DAY, I studied at least 2 hours (and most days, 3 hours) for my exam. I kept a record of how many hours I studied each day. My goal was to study at least 300 hours by the time the exam date came. I scored well.

An incentive would help you get started, such as a candy bar or something of that sort. As for preparing the best thing to do would be practice tests.

Just do it. Simple enough. Sit down, open the book, and drive yourself to focus and study --- know that you need to do it and remember the phrase "work now, play later."
