I believe that if we have a breakthrough in artificial intelligence we could have a revolution similar to the printing press and Industrial, even more so because A.I could help a lot in combination with technologies like nanotechnology and genetic engineering. And even if we don't have a breakthrough in A.I, internet and computers are already causing for an exponential increase in knowledge. So, considering while you might call the 20th century the century for physics, if I would guess I would say the 21st to be the century of biology. But that doesn't mean that other science's will stand still.

It will be even greater in terms of scientific and technological advancement. If Ray Kurzweil is correct, and the technological singularity occurs during the 21st century, change will be revolutionary, not just evolutionary.
