Can I get an international license with a G2 license?

Can I dirve on highway if i only have a G2 license?

  • If i only have a G2 license....and am visitig US.....can I drive on highways? and in US the restrictions and rules i need to follow...where do i get information on that. Please ...show more

    If you have a G2 licence you can drive anywhere at anytime you want. However if you only have a G1 licence you can only drive on roads with a posted speed limit of 80 Km/H or less.

Check the website of the Department of Motor Vehicles for the state that you will be visiting. Every DMV differs state from state. In my state, you can only drive for 10 days I think. After 10 days, your trip is either done or you're going to be moving here and you need to get a permanent license here.

in canada you can drive anything except 400series highways so id assume major highways in the states would also be restricted....... to some T you're right its a g1 where your not allowed on 400 series, sorry its been awhile since i've lived in ON thanks for correcting me
