Is it okay to work for Baskin Robbins for life?

Do what makes you happy, better to be poor and happy, than rich and miserable. And perhaps if you work there they will let you own a franchise, I know at some fast food places they do let managers who work there for years have franchises, at least they used to in the past.

sure it's okay, but saving for retirement is really important. does baskin even offer benefits? if you love ice cream that much you should make it your second job and find a decent job as your primary career.

Be a computer programmer! You'll earn a decent earning and won't be stressed. If you work at baskin robins, then you will be working minimum wage. That means no more houses, small apartments, low quality services, low quality computers, and much more.

The problem comes when you fall in love. Any idiot can make it on virtually nothing if he's single. But once you bring a spouse into your life, and then children (!!!) you need some serious cash, unless you want to be a deadbeat.

Why Baskin Robbins of all places? There are plenty of people who have decent jobs who have never attended college. Many are self-employed or were self-taught and then demonstrated their abilities and got a job. Some people just went into the military where they don't require even a high school education and have been pretty successful. I would know because my father did that very thing. He never even finished high school yet we live in a pretty decent sized house with internet, computers, TV, plenty of food, etc. Seriously, why would you aim to be a dead beat?
