Why do Liberals complain when a surgeon makes $200,000 but not when Hollywood actors make $15 million?

Because doctors represent capitalism and Hollywood is pro communist like most unions

I would rather pay the surgeon, personally. Did you know that a general surgical residency is 5 years after Medical school? Some surgeries last 8-12 hours, sometimes more. That's no pee breaks, no cigarette breaks, intense concentrated work where the life of a patient is on the line the whole time. I'll happily pay someone 200,000 if they'll save my life. For every doctor who wants universal care, there are 5 who don't. Those 5 will retire, switch to cash up front, or simply not accept the government plans.

Name a single liberal complaining about how much surgeons make. I don't think you can. Added: Congratulations, but you should probably have phrased your question, "Why does a liberal of no consequence complain when a surgeon..."

supply and demand. It's called capitalism. If you don't like it, you can leave. Really, to be honest, no one is going to care if you just leave.

I don't have a problem with actors making what they do, it's capitalism and they get what they earn. If you don't like how much they make, then stop going to the movies and stop watching shows on TV. I also believe that doctors, along with teachers, firefighters, and law enforcement officials are way underpaid.
