How do I get a subsidized student loan?

I think I may want to take out a student loan. I'm in my third year of school and finances are becoming a bit of a problem. How does this process work and how long will it take? ...show more
Answer:

Your F.A. department at your school and tell them you want to take out a student loan. If your school is online there might be a link on there too. Where I go to school I fill out the loan paper work over the computer and then after I have completed 25 percent of the courses I get my check. At my school the student loans are not given directly to me by the lender, they are sent to my school so if I own any money the school gets to take it right off the top. Also alot of banks do school loans too. You should check in and see if they do loans where you bank. Hope this helps!
