What state of USA has the following characteristics snow in winter, reasonable house prices, low crime index?

Idaho and eastern Washington. I live in Moscow, Idaho and home prices are on the rise but there is snow from November until March (with beautiful blue skies) and virtually no crime. Moscow is a university town so there are some jobs and it has a great quality of life. Across the border is Pullman, Washington, another university town. Check out the northwest. Also, our winters are snowy but milder than the midwest and our summers are warm but not very humid. It's perfect. Good Luck on your search!!

Ohio is my #1 pick then Michigan i was born and raised in Toledo Ohio close to lake Erie i love and miss the snow lots housing is fair just depends what you are looking for and the type of job my parents still live there i live in ca. my parents say there is hardly jobs but with good skills you good survive crime is low not as say L.A. but there is crime depends on the area north end was the best for me my parents are in that area the best is point place surrounding the lake awesome in winter hope i could help good luck
