How's the weather in DC in march?

    The weather has been differing between the seasons a lot lately. I know some times in April I have had to dress a little warmer but then again during the same time frame I may have had to be in a short sleeve tshirt. In March...usually when I go to work with a cotton long sleeve shirt I will wear a lightweight jacket early in the morning (5:45am). By 5pm it is closer to the high for the day. Personally I would wait until closer to the date to ask this question or just look up a forecast. It is usually somewhere in the 60s but it could be more like the 50s when you start your day. If it is a school trip I'm guessing you will be dedicated to the Smithsonian some days and outside on others. Smithsonian will be crowded on weekdays so I wouldn't dress extremely warm or at least wear something you can take off. Outside you really need to account for sunny days.
