How can I make money with my skills?

How can I make a decent amount of money in proportion to my skills and work input?  What are the optimal means of doing so (i.e. freelancing, etc).  This answer MUST be specific to those under the age of 18, which I am.   Thanks!

• My skills are: Writing (not to sound arrogant, but all of my humanities teachers tell me to become a writer/philosopher. Math (self explanatory) Comp Sci (PHP, C++, Python.  Am also willing to learn any concept or language, really.)

  It is very, very hard at that age. Not so much because you lack the skills, but because everyone else your age does, so much so, that no one will look at you. A university education is one of the best ways to start a career. Getting that foot in the door is really hard. Suggestions: Tutor. Charge people money to help them based on what you know. Pursue the comp science field. Establish a regular routine for learning and improving your skills, especially during the summer holidays and weekends. But be sure to lead a balanced life, especially getting exercise. Create a good portfolio, then shoot for entry level jobs. Look at job ads, and figure out what skills you need to learn, then learn them. In the meantime, you should pursue a degree in computer science. Eventually it should pay off.
