How many stamps do I need to put on a large yellow manilla envelope to mail my application to a university?

I am mailing in all my applications to colleges right now and I have no idea how many stamps I am supposed to put on every envelope. I am mailing them all inside the US, but do I need ...show more

Weight. Not size. Probably want to use 2 stamps if you are sending more than 4-5 pages; or better yet take one sample to the post office and have them weight it and tell you how much it'll take to mail.

Go to the post office. Ours has a machine you put your envelope on and enter zipcode. It tells you how much it cost and you can put your credit card in and pay. A stamp is printed. stick it on and drop the package in the bin. Go directly to the closest Post Office as they will weigh each envelope and tell you postage needed, with Ur stamps or theirs...
