What are some ways of marketing a price comparison website?

The average search terms can cost anywhere from 50p-£5 and retailers are only offering 30-40p per click, so going by those rough calculations that would rule out search engine marketing. SEO would take a long time, unless your producing a lot of content? If you were going to market a price comparison website what would be the best way to go about it?

HI, I have given some thought to that question. Basically you are right - you cannot compete with retailers on SEM, its just to costly. I would go for Email Marketing and Social Media in that order. While youre on it you shouldnt forget SEO, it will be the BASIS for that business model. Thanks Chris
