  Start by making a general statement as to what you think. For instance, did you think there were a lot of differences or only a few? Then, give a general idea in what particular ways they were different (was there a lot of variation in the plot or were the characters much different than how they were described in the book?) Next, you go into detail on each comparison. Did the movie leave out things from the plot? If so, what were they and were they crucial to the message of the book? Did the book give more detail to a particular character that you feel was not conveyed in the movie? Did those details change the plot of the movie or the feel of the movie? Were there any changes in the settings used in the book that made the movie more, or less, enjoyable than the book? Did the actors chosen for the roles fit what readers of the book would imagine?
