What to pack when going to california?

I am going to California, what should i pack, and how much money? HELP?!?

It is going to be 85-117 degrees , i am 13 , visiting my aunt for 2 weeks, i am going to be shopping and swimming alot. my aunt will pay for food and stuff like that. help please!!! ...show more

It would help if you told us where you are visiting. California has a gazillion micro-climates. 117 degrees sound like the Mojave desert. The best advice I can give you is just to chill and bring some money for shopping, but otherwise not to worry. Pack for hot casual -- shorts, cool tops, sandals, bathing suits, and such. Enjoy your visit!
