  • Answer:

Simply put. NO! Expensive, nothing to do, dirty, dangerous, high violence rate, Camden the most dangerous city in America is across the river, to close to NJ, i76. Septa, no jobs unless you want to be a full time employed homeless person or if your already rich, the music is gone that defined the city and the list goes on. The drive to the shore or mountains is long and expensive. The universities are surrounded by poverty and dangerous neighborhoods. The historic area is the only safe area and its small. Boston gives a better example of keeping the history. The Philly airport is one of the worst and more expensive. Again septa which is our mass transit is virtually non existent or dangerous. If you take the expensive trip to NYC you won't want to come back. I lived here for 31 yrs and its not getting better. Upside. The art museum is one of the best. Fort Mifflin and eastern state are two of the most haunted places, best childrens hospital and..... Well that's it. People who like the city usually live on the mainline where they are super rich and well protected. If you like drinking and only drinking you'll get by. Othere then that don't even stop in.
