Where are good areas to live in Philadelphia?

What are some good neighborhoods/areas around Philadelphia PA to live?

My partner and myself are relocating to the Philadelphia area in July. Can anyone recommend some areas that are nice/safe and within driving distance of the city? We want to be ...show more
Answer:

You could live in Pennsylvania or New Jersey because they could both work with commuting. West Chester is a good area. You could also go with Germantown, Chestnut Hill, Manayunk, Bucks County and Swarthmore in Pennsylvania. In New Jersey, you could live in Woolwich/Swedesboro, Mullica Hill, Salem, or Logan. But if you move to New Jersey you would have to pay bridge tolls everyday. Delaware could also work... check out Wilmington suburbs.
