What are some affordable areas that are no more than 45 minutes awayfrom Philadelphia?

I am looking at buying a small dwelling that is around 1000sq ft and in livable condition. My maximum price is $50,000. I want it to be no more than 45 minutes away from Philadelphia. ...show more

1049 Elmwood Ave, Sharon Hill, PA 19079 on the market for $44,900. Not the best area around, but not terrible. It's about 10 minutes from Philly.

Not even in Darby are you going to get a house for that price. You're going to have to rent. I don't know where you are from but in this part of the country real estate is real expensive.

Sorry, but you won't find anything for $50,000 that close to Philadelphia. Even in North Philly, houses go for at least $70,000.
