How can you create a different page in Wordpress?

Can I create a profile page site with Wordpress?

  • I need to create a site where users can obtain a free public profile page which lists their personal info, with an option to upgrade for extra content options. I'm looking at Buddypress. Does anyone know of any themes that may do something like this?

We call that concept "Profile Centric"  as opposed to "Content Centric".  That might help you slim down the options of CMS system. Examine whether buddypress is user-contributes-content-to-community or user-adds-content-to-their-profile  style.  Its quite a core concept premise so if it doesn't get where you need to go examine http://jamroom.net (Jamroom CMS) as an alternative. Jamroom uses "all user content's primary location is on their profile" as the core concept. Its not wordpress however, so it might be un-useful if you are committed to the wordpress platform.
