    If you can't find something to do in L.a. then you can't find somehting to do anywhere. Anything there is to do in the whole world of doing things is available in L.A. Its not like Iowa where you have to tip cows and drink to get any excitement. How about surfing, kayaking, planetariums, day trip to catalina, hell you could even go to ensenada mexico if you felt like it...take advantage of your awesome opportunities, most kids don't get to do crap when they are growing up

One place I highly recommend is Huntington Gardens in Pasadena. It's a combination botanical garden and art museum.The grounds are beautiful, and the art museum is fantastic.The famous Blue Boy painting is there. Other places to check out in and near LA are the beaches,Disneyland,Universal Studios,Magic Mountain,The Tolerance Museum, and the Gettysburg Museum. I also recommend a drive up the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu.

Hey I agree with Mary. There is "something about Mary". But The gang bangers and crack hores probably get in the way. Also in the summer time gets like a smog coating on it. Not to offend LA but I think they made a movie called "escape LA" or "To live and die in LA" something like that. Try Disney it's not that far away, or Knots Berry, just take a drive to the coast. I like Newport Beach but just go see the ocean. "The city of angels", Angels like to go to the beach and see the ocean too. That's where they hang out according to the movie.
